Family History
The Hunsinger Family has a long history of farming in Illinois dating back to an 1860's land grant in nearby Woodford County.
Kevin Hunsinger has fond memories of time spent on his grandparents' farm in Woodford County and would take his sons on "field trips" to help his Uncles harvest every fall as they were growing up.
He had a successful tenure in construction and property management on the University of Illinois campus before getting back to his roots with the first Hunsinger Enterprises Farm purchase in 2007 in Mahomet. Kevin enjoys every aspect of farming from spring planting to scouting fields on a dirt bike and the culmination of harvest on a beautiful fall day.
Kevin and his wife, Tresa, enjoy working with their 3 children. Their diverse talents in the agricultural business create a family farm that can thrive for many generations.
Andrea Decker joined the family business in 2013 after teaching math for 4 years. She assisted first in the apartment business while getting her MBA from the University of Illinois. She now manages the farm accounting and financials and assists in marketing and business planning.
Andrea and Kurtis enjoy watching their 3 boys, Kaleb, Luke, and Ryan, ride along and help on the farm.
Paul Hunsinger graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Technology Systems Management with a crop science minor. He worked for a John Deere dealership as a Precision Ag Solutions Specialist before joining the family farm in 2020. He now oversees data management, technology, machinery and spraying.
Paul and Annalicia enjoy life together on the beautiful countryside!
Joe Hunsinger is a John Deere certified master technician with experience at a John Deere dealership and working for a large, local farmer doing equipment repair and running equipment in season.
Joe is excited to be starting Endplay Ag Repair to repair farm equipment on his own while also working on the family farm.
Joe and Melissa live on one of the family farms and enjoy watching their 3 boys, Mikey, Henry, and Charlie, grow up on the farm.
Farming is a family affair! We work hard and we play hard and at harvest that means pizza in the field after a combine ride!
